What is #eWalkThrough®?
In education, we collect endless data regarding student achievement. We know, for example, how students performed on the third grade state reading assessment. Often, however, we don't know what happened instructionally in the third grade classroom that contributed to student performance. Southwest Plains Regional Service Center has developed a digital system that can provide districts and universities with these data.
#eWalkThrough™ is a web-based data collection system. It streamlines the analysis process by automatically creating charts and graphs from data collected by observers and based directly on organizational initiatives.

The eWalkThrough was exactly what we needed--it's customizable nature allowed the design team to align criteria directly to our course and program competencies, campus learning outcomes, and strategic planning initiatives. Using tablet or laptop technology provides quick feedback via email and allows observer and instructor to exchange notes and share ideas for improvement during the term, while they are relevant to the current classroom. -Peggy Forsberg, VP for Academic Affairs,

The eWalkThrough process is a research-based strategy to improve classroom instruction by providing a forum for reflective practice. Instructional staff can observe and learn from one another AND it provides administrators with consistent language for engaging instructors in productive, effective strategy and practice- focused conversations.
